Clay, Clay, And More Clay!

Join us this summer for Clay Camp at the Morean Arts Center for Clay located at the Train Station 420 22nd Street South St. Petersburg

9am to 3pm Monday – Friday

Clay is an exciting and magical material. Campers will learn the art and craft of clay while having fun and exploring their creativity!
Our experienced teachers offer encouragement and personal guidance in small classes, with a maximum of 15 campers per class. Campers will be grouped according to age;

5 & 6, 7-10, and 11-15.

Campers will learn ways to shape the clay to create pinch pots, slab projects, coil vessels, and more.

Daily Schedule:

9-9:30 Teacher Demos, sketch your ideas

9:30-9:45 Clean up

9:45-10 Break

10-11:30 Begin building your project

11:30-noon Lunch

Noon-1:30 Keep working on your project

1:30-1:45 break time

1:45-2:45 Finish up your creation, or keep working on our group installation project. Clean up and head home.
