Allison Smith

a piece by allison smith

Allison Smith's mixed media installations focus on common experiences in a playful, sometimes wicked way. Childhood rhymes and visual puns are part of the message in Allison's sculptures of steel wire, paper, rubber and other found materials.

Digital Fusion
curated by Jack Breit

a piece by jerry uelsmann

This is the first exhibition devoted to digital art hosted by The Arts Center. "Our show has painters, photographers, cartoonists, assemblagists, and other contemporary artists intermingling and crossing boundaries in digital art. This cutting edge form of expression is reconfiguring our notions about art," says Mr. Breit. See works by Jerry Uelsmann, Baron Wolman, Anna Tomczak, Michael Volbracht and others.

Teacher's Pet Juried Show

a piece by scott kirkhuff

The Teacher's Pet Juried Show features more than thirty artworks from currently enrolled Arts Center students. Paintings, drawings, ceramic works, prints, jewelry, and other media are featured in this first-ever Arts Center student competition. Arts Center instructors anonymously selected work submitted by the creative talent in all our classes.
