Leslie Neumann: Mystic Guideposts, Navigating a New Course
Landscape artist Leslie Neumann breaks new ground with the use of symbols, realism and abstraction. Using a 5th century B.C. Grecian technique called encaustic, Leslie turns her landscapes into narrative and expressive works. Ms. Neumann's work can be found in numerous corporate collections, the permanent collection of the Polk Museum of Art, the Gulf Coast Museum of Art, the public art collections of Tampa and Orlando, as well as the University of Florida Denis Gaston: New Works
Working with non-traditional types of media, Dunedin artist Denis Gaston creates a brand new body of work exploring the theme of the body as a vessel. Gaston uses collage, sand, gels, oil and acrylic on large-scale mixed media, canvas and masonite to create a massive body of work that is highly emotional. |
