Skill Level: Intermediate
Summer Session 2 (July 26, Aug 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30)
YUM! Love food? Love photography? This class will combine them both into one fun class. Students will explore light, styling, and composition and be inspired by the work of professional food photographers. Class will consist of classroom time, hands-on photography in multiple locations, and critiques.
Working knowledge of manual exposure is very helpful for this class. Tripod needed.
Limited to 10 students.
I began photographing for my school newspaper in the 9th grade. Being a photojournalist has been my passion for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I received my MFA in photography from The Hartford Art School.
In 2003, I was selected to be the first Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa. I love teaching as much as taking photographs and have been combining these loves for over 20 years. Currently I am the Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center.
