This intermediate handbuilding class is designed to help students expand their current skillset and explore the creative potential of handbuilding with clay.

A basic understanding of handbuilding is required, as this class will not cover fundamental techniques.

This class is structured with projects that integrate a range of contemporary and traditional building methods.

These projects are designed to help students with idea generation, and will
explore the relationship between function, design, and sculpture.

In addition to class projects, students are encouraged to apply these techniques to their own personal projects and they can receive feedback on their independent work.

Members: $200

Non-Members: $250
