Fall Session 1 (September 19, 26, Oct 3, 10, 17, 24)
Fall Session 2 (Nov 7, 14, 21, 28, Dec 5, 12)
Draw your creativity! Explore how to draw as well as how to draw. Each class is an independent lesson, a series of ongoing learning experiences.
Objectives:
- Develop self-expression through self-discovery
- Increase your aesthetic awareness
- Improve pictorial composition
- Refine your technical skills
- Explore varied materials, both wet and dry
Lessons:
Classes will include a defined subject, technique or approach and a separate focus on imagination, concept or expression. Create a synthesis of what you see and what you want to say about it.
A nude model is available for later classes. Students split the model fee.
Materials:
18” x 24” newsprint pad
Kneaded eraser
Ebony or 6b pencil
Soft vine charcoal
All other materials will be provided free.
