Please note that there is NO CLASS or OPEN STUDIO during make up week (weeks of Feb 19 and April 8)
In this class you will learn the basics of throwing on the potters wheel from start to finish. Students will leave with a basic understanding of how to work in a ceramics studio. All glazes and firings are included in the class price. All levels welcome!

Phoenix – Made by Highwater Clays. Fires to a light tan in color. Great clay for beginners. Smooth enough to throw on the potter’s wheel, but strong enough to withstand most hand-building techniques. Can be fired from Cone 6 to Cone 10. Cost is $23.54 after tax.
Speckled Brownstone – Made by Highwater Clays. Fires to a light brown in color with small black specs. Great for throwing on the potter’s wheel. Can be fired to Cone 6. Cost is $23.54 after tax.

Tuition Refund Policy: Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by the Morean Arts Center. A $25 processing fee is deducted for all other student refund requests. No refunds will be issued on or after the first day of class.
