In this fun and imaginative yoga class, children will explore movement, breath and mindfulness through weekly themed adventures – from jungle safaris to outer space journeys and everything in between! Each class is designed to keep kids engaged with creative storytelling, games, and mindful art projects that build focus, strength, and balance. Whether exploring the seasons, learning about emotions, or moving through nature-inspired doodle flows, students of all abilities are welcome to come stretch, create, grow, and discover how yoga can help them feel great inside and out!

 

Materials Cost: $10 – Due at begining of class

Teacher Bio: Alana Matthews is a yoga-loving interior architecture and sustainability student at George Washington University, with a deep passion for wellness and creative movement. With several years of experience leading children in summer camps, afterschool programs, field trips, and games, Alana brings energy, creativity, and care into every activity she leads. Her yoga classes are playful, themed, and designed to help kids fell calm, confident, and connected to their creativity. Drawing on her own experience, Alana creates a welcoming space where students of all abilities can explore how yoga supports both the body and mind.Â
