This 2-day workshop is an introduction into the fun of tool making. The goal of this workshop is to make tools that are practical for your own studio practice. We will cover the steps to making wooden knives/sculpting tools and wooden ribs. Open to all skill levels, handbuilders and wheel throwers, potters and sculptors alike. We will cover the basics of wood working and end up with your very own tools that you can use in your studio.

Each day will run from 10am – 3pm consist of demos, making time, and then end in a discussion about our findings.

Class will run from 10am – 3pm with time for a lunch break from 12pm – 1pm

Tuition Refund Policy: Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by the Morean Arts Center. A $25 processing fee is deducted for all other student refund requests. No refunds will be issued on or after the first day of class.
