Maintaining Art in the Home: An Ongoing Series with Alexandra vonHawk

First Event:
Saturday, June 11, 2016
11:30am-12:30pm

How are you protecting and maintaining your art collection for future generations to enjoy? Join us for an informative, round-table discussion about this and other art collection-related topics with AIC (American Institute for Conservation of Historic and Artistic Works) member Alexandra vonHawk, owner of VonHawk Laboratories and Conservator of Collections for the Cornell Fine Arts Museum. Bring your questions AND any artwork you wish to have assessed for an additional $10 fee per artwork. Please note: Alexandra vonHawk does not do art appraisals. An assessment, unlike an appraisal, does not assign market-value to the work. An assessment provides information regarding conservation of the artwork.

Saturday, June 11th, 11:30-12:30pm (Conservation assessments will take place afterward, with participants invited to observe).
Deadline to register is June 8th.

20 person maximum

Cost: $15 per person
(If you wish to have an artwork assessed, please bring the $10 assessment fee in cash or check on June 11.)
