Meet the Makers: A Joyful Outdoor Celebration

Sat., Dec. 5 from 10 am to 3 pm

Meet the Makers, have a joyful day in our garden and become a Maker yourself!

Morean Center for Clay is hosting an outdoor celebration of the joy of the clay making process.

This is a FREE event!

Demonstrations of the Raku kiln, soda and gas firings and kiln openings revealing just completed works will take place throughout the day.

Guests can also explore the kiln pad and gardens to learn about kiln operations as well as the historic significance of the art placed throughout the historic train station grounds.

Children will be able to get hands-on painting ornaments, outdoor fun and a fun scavenger hunt.

Shop local this holiday season and experience JOYFUL shopping with hundreds of handcrafted functional and sculptural works of art for sale by our featured artists:
– 50 working studio artists
– 2020-21 Artists in Residence
– Accomplished students of the Morean Center for Clay

We invite you to experience the Joy of Art, in an outdoor craft market style.

Make it a full day of holiday shopping, supporting local artists and unique finds with @IndieFleaMarket and @VintageMarche. All within walking distance of the Morean Center for Clay.

FREE Parking
