Nocturnes: Painting After Dark

Learn how to paint the sunset!
All rules of art go out the window when you are painting the sunset!
Join artist Shawn Dell Joyce an hour before the sun sets at the beach (location TBA and changes each month) for tips and techniques in capturing the light quickly, then set up on the beach and capture the sunset in your favorite medium!
Expect to make two paintings each workshop, one sunset and one nocturne after dark. Both paintings happen at the same location, one is the sunset, one is the beach houses or buildings after dark.
Class Supplies: Open to oils, pastels, acrylics, bring your own media, and an easel (or borrow one of ours) and a small battery-operated light or two.
