Offered for:

Fall Session 2 (Oct 26, Nov 2, 9, 16, 23, 30)

Ever wanted to see your artwork on a shirt, bag, patch or scarf?

Learn how in this introduction to relief printmaking class! Students will learn about the relief printing process – from composition to carving, and even layering designs to create beautiful and wearable works of art.

This class is for ages 7-12. Please dress in clothes you don’t mind getting messy. Students will need to provide a cotton shirt, bag or scarf (no dark colors, we will be using black ink, and fabric must be 90-100% cotton) for printing on later in the class. A sketchbook for planning and brainstorming ideas is suggested but not required.

Come dive into the printmaking process with me as we explore relief printmaking together!

Student provides:

A cotton shirt, scarf, patch for printing on (no dark colors)

Sketchbook (optional)

Ideas and their creativity!
