The teachers and young artists who participated in our Annual Morean Summer Camp Programs hosted at the Morean Arts Center and Morean Center for Clay this year were an inspiration.  They displayed boundless creativity, compassion, support and care for each other, and the flexiblity and courage to do things in new ways. With a display of their personal super powers they showed us all how to navigate uncertainties. This is a collection of some of the moments where creators who are young, and teachers who are young at heart, proved that Art is essential to us all.  They proved that Art can heal and comfort, provide forms of expression that bridge understanding, provide indvididuals with the conceptual skills they need to imagine brave new tomorrows, and lift up our entire community.
