ART CAMP (Ages 5 & 6)

Campers will enjoy a week of art-filled experiences based on weekly themes as well as stories, songs, and games in the self-contained Bank of America Children’s Learning Center. Children will explore various art mediums, such as watercolor, oil pastels, tempera paints, collage, and sculpture in both guided and self-guided experiences.
While final works of art will head home on Fridays, each group will also create a collaborative piece of art that will be displayed in our Summer Camp Exhibition in the Risser Gallery.
Outdoor Activities in the Chihuly Gardens: Each day we will be taking the fun outdoors too. “Mindful mornings” and after lunch exercise will help us all to reset our creative energies and focus. Plus, we will do chalk drawings, enjoy playing with HUGE wooden Connect4 and GIANT Jenga games. This fun will all take place in the amazing Chihuly Garden space, walled from the street, so this private outdoor time is enjoyed exclusively by our art campers.
10 children per classroom with 1 lead teacher, 1 assistant teacher, and teenage volunteers.
