As we near the year’s end, it’s time to reflect on the people and experiences that enrich your life. Whether you’re an artist, volunteer, and/or supporter, you play a key role in making sure the Morean Arts Center continues as the vibrant arts center it’s been for nearly a century.

Since 1917, when we began as the Art Club of St. Petersburg, the Morean Arts Center has contributed to arts education and arts appreciation in our community for generations. The Morean Arts Center is the oldest arts organization in the Tampa Bay region — the first art gallery south of Atlanta and the cultural hub of the arts in St. Petersburg.

The Morean Arts Center provides art education 363 days a year through excellent, innovative, community-oriented initiatives at four unique venues: the Morean Arts Center, Glass Studio & Hot Shop, Morean Center for Clay, and the Chihuly Collection.

Do you like what you’ve seen throughout the year? If so, remember we rely on financial support at all levels to ensure the quality and quantity of programs we offer and to sustain our historic organization.

We continue to develop additional revenue sources, but unexpected building & equipment repairs and technology costs have stressed the current budget. Private donations – beyond memberships, grants, corporate sponsors, etc. – account for a significant portion of the Morean Arts Center’s annual income. We truly can’t do it without your support.
