Rules, Rules, Rules — YUCK! So many rules about what makes a good photograph–well, we will break them all and find beauty and strong composition in breaking the rules! Each week we will discuss traditional rules and then have a creative mind-merge on how to turn them upside down. There will be some in-class photo time, critique, and fun energy to inspire your work.
Some basic knowledge of your camera/computer is needed.
I began photographing for my school newspaper in the 9th grade. Being a photojournalist has been my passion for nearly 30 years. In 1995 I received my MFA in photography from The Hartford Art School.
In 2003, I was selected to be the first Photographer Laureate for the city of Tampa. I love teaching as much as taking photographs and have been combining these loves for over 20 years. Currently I am the Director of Photography at the Morean Arts Center.
