This workshop will help students to start their growth as an artist. Whether it’s realistic or abstrct art, a grasp of drawing basics is important for all artists. Students will be taught specific techniques to establish accurate proportions, simplify a subject, and understand value relationships. The instructor will provide personalized feedback to help each student grow. Students will have the option to bring their own item from home to draw. Otherwise, the instructor will provide sculpture casts and other objects to choose from. Students will be working with pencils on paper. All the necessary drawing materials for the workshop will be provided by the instructor.
