Eric Botbyl Hands-On Workshop

Join Eric Botbyl for a two-day, hands-on workshop in which we will explore the dynamic surfaces and textures of Eric’s work.  This class will push, pull, cut and stretch your work in new ways.    Eric will demonstrate how he achieves his unique style and participants will get the majority of the class time to work with Eric on discovering how his process can be applied to their own work.  Eric will also go over his slips, inlay and cone 6 ash glazes which are done through multiple firings.  This class is open to all experience levels and welcomes both wheel throwers and hand builders.

Eric is the owner of Companion Gallery in Humboldt Tennessee.  The Companion Gallery is a nationally acclaimed ceramic gallery and education facility.  Eric will be encouraging much discussion in regards to applying to shows, gallery representation and other aspects of running a ceramic business during this workshop.  Space is limited so please be sure to sign up while there is still availability.
