DePaul School Creates!

The dePaul School is a specialized, independent, not-for-profit school located in Clearwater and dedicated to the education of children with dyslexia and related language-based learning difficulties with the primary goal of enabling these students to achieve academic and personal success.

Led by art teacher Pamela Miles, this school year the dePaul students studied the artwork of Squeak Carnwath and her lists of song titles, Gio Swaby and her sewn and fabric collaged portraits, Hunt Slonem’s flocks of fleeting butterflies, Spiller & Cameron, a mother and son duo, Philip Guston’s soles of shoes paintings, and Norio Monma’s creative collage/drawings in addition to Art-after-School lessons about Janet Fish’s still lifes and Frank Morrison’s illustrations of friendships.
