More Art More Creativity More Experiences More Engagement More Impact

“I started teaching sculpture at the Arts Center in 1996, three years after moving here from Nashville. The sculpture room was so small! There was no door between the throwing room and the sculpture room, even when we had a nude model. All we had was a shower curtain! I was thrilled and nervous to meet my students for the first time. Within a few months, I started serving Japanese green tea in class. Many students enjoyed green tea and relaxing in class. There are so many memories. I met a lot good people. “I learned so many things about teaching art since I started teaching at the Arts center.”
