This three-hour workshop will introduce students to the watercolor technique, providing basic skills and encouraging creativity through practical exercises.
Workshop Itinerary:
- Introduction (15 minutes)
- Welcome to participants.
- Brief presentation and my experience in watercolor.
- Workshop objectives and what to expect.
- Presentation of the materials and their use.
- Watercolor Fundamentals (30 minutes)**
- Explanation of watercolor types and papers and basic techniques:
- Washes (wet on wet and wet on dry)
- Color application
- Color mixing
- Explanation of watercolor types and papers and basic techniques:
- Practical exercise: Perform a simple wash on paper.
- Guided Practice (60 minutes)
- Exercise 1: Painting a simple landscape
- Step by step, guiding participants in creating the work.
- Advice on how to apply the techniques learned.
- Feedback and individual assistance during the activity.
- Break (15 minutes)
- Personal Project (45 minutes)
- Participants choose a simple theme (flower, everyday object, etc.) to create their own work.
- Assistance to resolve doubts and guide in the technique.
- Presentation and Closing (15 minutes)
- Exhibition of the works made by the participants.
- Reflections on what was learned and experiences of the workshop.
- Information on additional resources (courses, books, watercolor communities, references)

- Watercolor papers (rough grain and satin grain)
- Special watercolor brushes of different sizes
- #4 round, #6 flat, liner
- Watercolors (tube or tablets)
- Water containers
- Palettes for mixing colors
- Kitchen paper
