$300 (2-days; Resin Painting (Advanced), Mixed Media Abstract Painting)
+$40 materials fee due at start of first day (covers both days)
Please note: It is highly suggested that students wear comfortable clothing and bring their own apron and face mask/respirator if possible. We will have only a limited supply of aprons and face mask/respirators.
In this 3-Part workshops, students will learn about Resin Art and Mixed Media Abstract Painting. Each day will focus on a different subject matter. Resin Art can be taken as a standalone 1-day workshop; while both Resin Painting and Mixed Media Painting has to be taken together as a 2 day workshop as the same art piece will be worked upon both days to enhance it further.
*Resin Art (Beginner-Intermediate)
Thursday, March 13
Learn about Resin Art and its Techniques. Course will include information on types of resin, pigments, and the various art pieces that can be created with it. Information on safe use will be covered. The end result would be to create a pair of coasters, a tray or a small wall piece using resin which you will take home with you.

*This workshop can be taken independently. You are not required to take Resin Painting (Advanced) and Mixed Media Abstract Painting (Advanced) to attend this workshop; however, it is recommended to do so in order to build upon the foundational knowledge learned in Resin Art, especially if you have little to no prior experience.
Resin Painting (Advanced)
Friday, March 14
Learn how to create landscapes, floral, and other nature inspired abstract wall paintings using resin. Several techniques will be explored with emphasis on using a hairdryer to create and blow designs. Emphasis on how to create cells with resin and enhance your work. The end result will be an abstract wall painting which will be further worked upon in the next workshop.

Mixed Media Abstract Painting (Advanced)
Saturday, March 15
Learn how to enhance your landscape, floral, ocean inspired abstract wall paintings further using several mediums including resin, alcohol inks, gold leaf, etc. This course will teach you how to work in layers overlapping your work with several different mediums to create depth & details! You will add onto the art piece that you made in Resin Painting in this workshop. The end result will be a beautiful abstract wall painting.

Teacher Bio
Rakhi is a self-taught artist and has been doing fluid art for the last 4 years. She is very active on social media where she shares her work and her processes to her many followers. Rakhi holds a Bachelors Degree in Architecture and has 20 years of experience in art, interiors, and architecture. Her works has also been published in online magazines.
