Calling all artists! The Morean invites YOU to submit one, two, or three bird-themed works of art in any medium for this avian exhibition. Join our “flock” of affordable art, just in time for the holidays.

ARTIST ENTRY GUIDELINES:

• Please fill out the form (below) and submit no later than October 1. We are unable to accept artwork without this form being filled out prior to delivery. You’ll receive an email that your submission was successful (please check your spam folder). 
• The delivery dates for artwork are October 23 – 24 (Thursday and Friday) from 10am to 5pm. If you need to ship your work, shipping to and from the Morean is the responsibility of the artist.
• All artwork will be insured for 50% of the retail price while on display at the Morean. If shipping your work, artists are advised to insure their working during transit to and from the Morean.
• Each artist may bring up to three works of art for the exhibition.
• Size limit of artwork is 40 x 40 inches.
• Work should have been completed within the last 2 years and not previously exhibited at the Morean.
• 2D work should be properly wired. No sawtooth hangers, please! Paint must be dry. We will not accept any artwork framed with glass. Please use plexi or acrylic when framing.
• The Morean reserves the right to refuse an entry if, upon arrival, the exhibitions staff finds the work unacceptable.
• All artwork in this exhibition must be for sale, and the Morean retains 50% commission on the retail price of the work sold during the exhibition. Retail price may not exceed $400. 
• Artists will be paid by January 20, 2026 for work sold during the exhibition.
• Please submit a digital image of your artwork along with your entry. If you plan to bring more than one work of art, just select one example to use for the purposes of this form. You do NOT need to fill out multiple forms if you are bringing us more than one work of art.

IMPORTANT DATES:

October 1, 2025 Deadline to submit this online form (below). We will not accept any work without a completed form.

October 23 – 24, 2025 Deliver artwork to the Morean Arts Center (10am to 5pm)

November 7, 2025 Artists’ Preview for the exhibition (5 to 7pm).

November 8, 2025 Opening reception for the exhibition (5 to 8pm). Free and open to the public.

December 31, 2025 Last day to view the exhibition

January 3, 2026 Pick up unsold work from the Morean Arts Center (10am to 5pm)
