From realism to abstraction, collage can add excitement and unique interests to your paintings. If you are a beginner or experienced artist, collage is an exciting medium to add to your creative endeavors. In class we will discover methods to create all of your own personal collage elements. Design will be emphasized, combining acrylic painting with collage. Proper affixing of two or three dimensional elements to canvas and boards. Learn to use monotype gel plate prints, design your own papers and stamps and begin the collection and storage of your unique library of collage materials.

We will work together to build your own visual style through collage and acrylic painting.

Materials (For the first class)
Bring your acrylic paints and brushes and any collage items you already have.
If you have a collage design that you have previously done, please bring for critique.
We will discuss additional materials and begin building your library.
