Poke Art: Needle Felting for Beginners with Amy Gil

Craft an adorable needle felted figure out of wool!
This workshop will teach you the basics of Needle Felting in 3 dimensions.
You will learn about the different types of wool, the different tools and
needles, and how to create basic shapes. Needle felting is a fun and relaxing
craft.

Class supplies will include a kit that can be used for future projects and
enough wool to create a cute “kawaii” style animal to carry home with you.
Amy Gil has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design. She currently works as the Director of Interior Design for RRW Architects in Tampa, Fl. She has been an Adjunct Instructor of Interior Design while working full time in her field. She has designed a large variety of spaces including high end residential homes, International hotels, local and national restaurants, a ski lodge in Vermont, and a Rolls Royce, Aston Martin and Bentley car dealership. Growing up in N.Y. & St. Croix USVI, Amy has always been involved in the arts. She relates as a textile artist and enjoys sewing, painting, needle felting in 2D and 3D and embroidering.
