Polaroid photography aficionado Lance Rothstein has been making instant photos since before 2008. He’ll bring a table-full of Polaroid & Instax cameras from his personal collection and guide you through the fun process of making Polaroid Pictures.

~ Lance will discuss the history of Polaroid, show some examples by famous photographers, and images from his tour of the Polaroid Factory in the Netherlands.

~ He’ll discuss the different types of instant cameras and films currently available, and those lost to the past.

~ Each participant will be provided with an instant camera to borrow and one pack of instant film.

~ We’ll have a quick instruction session on how to get the best results from your film & camera, along with some creative tips.

~ Everyone will have about 45min to take all their pictures on a guided photo walk with advice if needed.

~ Digital pictures can also be used to make real Polaroid Pictures with my Instant Labs

~ We’ll return to the room and share our images and discuss the experience.

All materials provided but feel free to bring your own instant camera or films if you like.
