Beginner Crochet with Geneviev Carrero

Thursday, Six classes
10am – 1pm
Offered for:
Spring Session (Apr. 16, 23, 30, May. 7, 14, 21)
Price: $210
First-timers welcome!
This class will cover all the things you need to know to get your crochet journey started! We will cover basic stitches, tools, and how to read patterns, in a course designed to meet students where they’re at. Geneviev will cover, half-double, and double crochets, as well as increasing and decreasing.Â
By the end of the course each student will be creating their own unique project with the skills they have learned.

Required materials (Student responsibility):
-Yarn (preferably rope type of yarn that doesn’t split) for example: Lion Brand, or Loops and Thread. I encourage students to bring colors they would like to use in a goal project.
-Scissors
-Stitch markers
-Hooks (smaller hooks are recommended for beginners, hook sizes depend on how big the yarn is). The bigger the hook, the looser stitches will be, if using a larger hook on smaller yarn.Â
