The Morean Arts Center has been hosting figure drawing sessions on Saturdays for at least 50 years, continuing a robust tradition that goes back over a century. If you have ever participated in one of our Saturday morning drawing sessions, we invite you to exhibit ONE work of art in this show.

Your work can be any medium (not just drawing), but must be a work of art derived from the live model drawing session. 

Deadline to enter: July 19^th

Artwork delivery dates: Friday and Saturday, August 7^th and 8^th, 10am to 4pm

Exhibition opening: Saturday, August 15^th, 5pm to 8pm

Exhibition dates: August 15 – September 23, 2026

Artwork pick up dates: Thursday through Saturday, September 24^th – 26^th

Entry information

• All entries must be received no later than July 19^th.    
• ONE work per artist.
• Work must be delivered on Friday or Saturday, August 7^th and 8^th, from 10am to 4pm
• Pickup of artwork is Thursday through Saturday, September 24 – 26. Work left for more than 30 days becomes property of the Morean.

• The Morean receives 40% commission on the retail price of work sold in the exhibition.  If your work is not for sale, please mark the appropriate box and list the insurance value in the space provided. Retail price or insurance value may not exceed $1,500. The Morean will provide the artist with a check in the amount of 60% of the retail price for items sold during the exhibition no later than October 20, 2026.
• Hanging works should be properly wired—no sawtooth hangers, please! Please use plexi or acrylic when framing; no glass.
• The size limit for artwork is 36 inches in any direction, including the frame. The weight limit is 30 lbs.
