Are you wanting to Learn how to sew on a machine? Are you thinking about mending or making your own clothes and need the basics? Do you ever wish you could sit down and make yourself a one-of-a-kind tote bag? This class is for you!
Come join us for a fun and easy workshop that will introduce you to all of the beginning skills needed to start machine sewing, as well as simple stitch practice and pinning! Learn the basics from threading to working the machine settings while designing your own drawstring bag to take home.

Artist Bio:
Carolyn Kospender studied at the Tyler School of Art where she graduated with a BFA in Fiber Arts, with a focus in Arts Education. A downright geek when it comes to skill sharing, she has over 20 years of experience teaching in schools, museums, and DIY studios throughout Tampa Bay. She has been hand stitching custom pet portraits and pet toys since 2013 though her business, Thread and Paw, and has two rescue pups named Minerva and Roxanne who she loves to sew for.
