Virginia was born in Buffalo, NY, and moved to Florida in the 1950s with her husband, Dr. Burr Brundage. She was a local artist, member of the Arts Center in St. Petersburg, and won awards at many local art shows. She was involved in the League of Women Voters, various nature organizations, and ASPEC at Eckerd College. She participated in the first group show at the Arts Center’s 7th Street South location in 1971.
