“The Morean Arts Center is close to my heart. I first walked into the door of the ‘old’ Arts Center in 1984, and knew I wanted to be part of the organization. I began as a volunteer in charge of refreshments, slinging punch at every opening. Since then, I have exhibited in dozens of juried shows and a couple of shared exhibitions. From approximately 1996 to 2004, I taught student classes and workshops in hand-colored photography. “In 2004, I created the Mark Pheiffer Memorial Award for Works in Metal in honor of my late husband, who enjoyed taking jewelry classes at the Morean.”
