“My rich and rewarding relationship with the Morean Arts Center dates back to shortly after my arrival in St. Petersburg in 2000. Since then I have taught courses in painting as well as workshops in mixed media and artists’ books. I also taught in summer camp for a couple of years. “In 2003 I received the John Brown Memorial Award for Painting in the Twelfth Annual All Florida Juried Exhibition. My first solo exhibition, Enigmas, which included Sentipensante, was in 2005. After winning the Best of Show award in 2013, I was given a second solo show, Homeland, Lost and Found, in 2014. “I currently teach Beginning/Intermediate Painting on Tuesday evenings and Friday mornings. I look forward to a continued relationship with this stellar organization for as long as I remain in St. Petersburg.”
