“I began visiting the Morean Arts Center in the late 80s. In the 90s, I exhibited individual photos in various juried exhibitions and later was fortunate enough to exhibit a larger body of work. I was honored when asked to teach some the darkroom courses in the early 2000s. These opportunities, made possible by the approachable staff of the Center’s curators, have made me a better photographer by increasing my self-confidence and pushing me to improve the craft – both for myself and others.” Boy with Lollipop was included in the 11th Annual All-Florida Juried Show, the first exhibition in the Morean’s main gallery on Central.
