“My experiences with the Morean Arts Center probably began in 1985. My soon-to-be-husband, Joe Walles, was either already a member or voluntarily shooting promotional photos for The Arts Center, so I was visiting the place even before I moved to St. Petersburg. As soon as I settled in, I joined and started drawing at the Saturday figure drawing open workshop. I was selected for a 3-Artist show in 1992 and shortly after that I began teaching there.”
