Word and Image 2019-2020 explores the theme “I Wonder”

There are four series of Word and Image exhibitions, which are open to the public and funded through the generosity of donors including Hazel Hough, who is being honored in a memorial tribute during this year’s exhibits. The exhibits are organized by the age of artists, beginning with the High School exhibit in November and transitioning to Middle School art in December, and two Elementary School exhibits in January and February.

Historically more than 1,200 individuals attend the openings over the course of the four shows, including local artists and educators who participated in the exhibition during its culmination who now include Word & Image in their own curriculum each year to encourage their students to delve into the world of art.
