In conjunction with the Clyde Butcher exhibition at the Dali Museum, Beth Reynolds, Morean Arts Center Director of Photography, will lead participants in this Butcher-focused landscape photography workshop. Inspired by Butcher’s aesthetic and connection to the land, students will gain an understanding of composition, technical settings and a little post-processing to create a dynamic photograph. Each student will have one image professionally printed to show at the Morean on the Photo Gallery Wall.

Dates:
Saturday, September 15: tour at the Dali Museum with Reynolds of “Clyde Butcher: Visions of Dali’s Spain,” followed by a lesson on landscape, vision, and photo techniques. Following lunch on their own at Cafe Gala (on-site at Dali Museum), the group will go on a photo field trip to a classic Florida landscape (TBD). Meet at the Dali Museum at 10am for tour and lecture.

Sunday, September 23: group will gather at the Morean Art Center (719 Central Ave) for a photo critique at 12-3pm.
