Ancient Greek philosophers had a dialogue around the word “eudaimonia” which many people today refer to as the concept of “The Good Life.” What makes a good life?
I imagine moments of celebration, feasting, and dancing. There is endless hospitality and plenty for everyone to share. All people enjoy abundance from the fruits of their labor. In contrast, the quiet, intimate moments are equally enjoyed. The beauty of small daily rituals and familiar places is noticed and appreciated, and feelings of comfort and belonging fill the home.
