Join us for a fun and energetic class with Morean Artist-in-Residence Jon Green. In this class you will learn the basics of glaze application and ceramic decoration. The class will focus on a wide variety of glazing techniques to help students gain confidence and demystify the glazing process. Each week Jon will demonstrate a cone 6 glaze or surface process that can be easily replicated in our studio classes. Course demonstrations will include layering glazes using resists, carving, stamping, brushing, dipping and pouring. As well as, conversations on testing and record keeping. Students will gain the skills to develop their ceramic surfaces in a personal decoration. All glazes and firings are included in the class price. All levels welcome! But some prior ceramic experience is recommended.

Tuition Refund Policy: Full refund or credit will be issued for any class cancelled by the Morean Arts Center. A $25 processing fee is deducted for all other student refund requests. No refunds will be issued on or after the first day of class.
