Using my vintage large format cameras and the Morean Darkroom, I will introduce you to the unique images that can be made with this special color reversal process. Each participant will make several genuine color photographs with the cameras provided. Together, we will set up some compelling still life compositions inside, and also do a short photo walk to take some pictures outside. Powerful flash lighting is required for these exposures which will be provided by my portable studio lights. Then we will develop the prints using my special daylight developing tank, and a mixture of traditional Black & White and RA4 Color Chemistry to produce rich dramatic colors with a very unique look. You will even see your images come to life right in the tray as the colors develop. Participants are encouraged to bring interesting, colorful items or even vibrant outfits if they are interested in being photographed themselves, (though certainly not required.)
