Advanced Studies in Painting

Skill Level: Intermediate/Advanced
This is a 3 or 6 week class. Students must attend during the session in which they register.

Fall Session 2 (Oct 27, Nov 3, 10, 17, 24, and Dec 1)

The goal of this studio class is to give experienced artists a place to expand on their artistic vision; you will have a chance to explore the amazing array of tools, additives, mediums, gels and more now available to artists. You will be encouraged to try incorporating drawing, collage, pastels, colored pencils, inks and a variety of techniques into your work.

Each student should bring their own reference materials, anything from realistic to abstract, and paint supplies for the medium/s of your choice.

Classes will involve demonstrations of techniques, discussions of art practices, individual attention and class feedback from this longtime practicing artist and teacher.
