Born in Massachusetts but raised in Florida, Maeve Garvin attended University of South Florida where she pursued a B.F.A. in painting. She has been making art since an early age and during high school was when she first started making jewelry, a craft that she immediately loved doing. Maeve furthered her education by attending Pinellas Technical College where she obtained a certification in welding and bench jeweler and worked as a welder for a couple years. A direct quote for what inspires her art:

My inspiration comes from everywhere. Things I see in nature, the people, the art, and the culture. I enjoy sharing my skills and knowledge about the things I am passionate about.
