Learn the basics of Polyester Plate Lithography, chemical free and eco-friendly printing!
Polyester Plate Lithography is a green alternative to traditional stone or aluminum plate lithography, producing stunning prints through a safe and creative process.

Students will learn how to prepare a plate, draw an image, set the plate, take the proper steps in preparation, and use the plate to make their one personal prints.
Great for beginners and experienced printers alike, students will have the opportunity to book additional one-on-one sessions to deepen their experience once they have mastered the basics.
Additional Private Sessions can be booked for a $50 fee following the completion of the class – speak with teacher to set up, pending availability
Supplies (Students responsibility):
- Sharpies – black fine point and standard size – Artist Loft black pens with a brush tip are also great. (Available at most Michaels)
- One (1) dense or medium pore cellulose sponge. Do not purchase a colored, perfumed, novelty or natural sponge.
- Q-Tip’s, cotton balls, pads, rags, old news paper
- Straight edge or ruler. Metal is preferred but not required.
- Apron or old clothes that can be soiled with oil-based inks.
