Students will learn to create objects through mold making and hot and warm glass working. Class will cover open face mold making and object “in the round” replication; from object to mold, to wax, to investment, to glass. Students must have an understanding of either hot/warm glass concepts and coldworking.

Proper attire for working in the Hot Shop is pants, comfortable t-shirt or long sleeve shirt, and comfortable, closed-toed shoes. Please wear natural fibers (cotton) as synthetic fibers can melt near high temperatures. Please remove all jewelry from hands and arms.
