Learn to construct incredible jewelry designs without the use of a torch. Creatively add alternative materials to your jewelry with these simple techniques that you can do at home with just a few tools! This 6 week class is a great introduction to basic metalsmithing tools and techniques. Students cut, shape, texture and connect metal to form unique works of jewelry.
Various riveting techniques including standard, flush, ball head, and tube, will be covered. Other methods for cold connecting found objects using tabs, prongs, wires and tension settings will be covered.  No previous metal fabrication experience needed.
