Cold connections is the joining together of many elements without using a source of heat. You incorporate materials that normally cannot be soldered. Such as: found objects, plastics, paper, cardboard, brass, copper, aluminum, silver and steel.
Every person has a measure of creativity within them. What is more exciting than designing a piece of wearable art of your very own? You can create one-of-a-kind beads, earrings, bracelet links or pendants by using the following:
Methods of joining:
Rivets, Eyelets, Tabs, Screws, Nuts, Bolts, Tacks, Stitches, Staples, Nails and Grommets. Don’t forget Glue!
Techniques:
Drilling, Punching, Stamping, Hammering, Texturing, Stone Setting, Riveting, Enameling, Chasing and Roll Printing
Tools:
Hammers, Rivet Setting Tool, Circle Template, Sharpie , Scriber, Disk cutter, Dapping tools, Punches, Drills, Flat-nose pliers, Tab Template, Jewelers saw, Bezel pusher, Ruler, Scissors and a Divider.
