This class will focus on helping you draw better through understanding the main principles of drawing, such as line, value, shape and form. The concepts we’ll cover will give you the freedom to set your own pace, making it the perfect class for beginning or advanced artists. This class also serves as the perfect introduction to PAINTING with Tommy Bell.

Materials (student responsibility):
Newsprint Pad (18” x 24”)
Kneaded Eraser
Pencil & Sketch Pad
Vine & Compressed Charcoal

Bio
Tommy Bell has had a lifelong passion for the arts and has been teaching since 1984. He has a bachelor of fine arts degree from the Ringling School of Art & Design, where he majored in painting and taught their summer art camp to high school students. Since that time he has been working as both an art teacher and illustrator. Tommy also works as a professional musician and stand-up comic.
