This workshop is designed for artists who are passionate about oil painting and want to deepen their skills in fine art portraiture. While recommended for intermediate to advanced students, all skill levels are welcome — everyone will be supported and encouraged.

We’ll explore the beauty and complexity of the human face using original reference photos provided by each student before our first session. Throughout the course, we’ll focus on mastering techniques in blending, value, hue, detail, and material handling. Along with the rich alchemy unique to oil painting.

Our ultimate goal will be in creating portraits that approach Photorealism or Hyperrealism, pushing each artist toward their highest level of their potential and unique sense of expression.
