Learn essential basic skills of Monotype printing: understanding, what is needed, how to make Monoptypes & why Monotype is an exciting creative outlet that expands the notion that simple steps make beautiful art and learning new skills that will enhance your creativity to satisfy whimsical or necessary desires.
Everyone will go home with at least one finished 5″ X 7″ print although more is not out of the question.
Monoprinting is the process of creating a one-of a kind image. Artist can use, found objects, wood blocks, and many other items to make an adventurous, entirely unique piece.


YOU NEED TO BRING:
Found objects from home – bottle caps (to make circles), string, twine, Q-tips, cotton balls, leaves (dried or fresh), anything that is thin that can easily fit under the press roller.
An apron or clothes that can withstand water-based inks/paints
A few sheets of any specialty paper you may want to print on (Not required)
a few rags for clean-up, your patience and more importantly your creativity.
