Do you love the effects of a soda kiln but want brighter, more vibrant colors? Well then this 4-day hands on mid fire soda workshop is for you! This workshop will cover all of the fundamentals involved in preparing, loading, and firing a Cone 6 soda kiln. Open to all skill levels, sculptors and potters alike, we will establish a foundation for understanding the process start to finish. We will cover different glaze application techniques, usage of underglazes and flashing slips. All you have to bring is 20-30 bisqued cone 6 ceramic works! So join in and let’s get this mid-fire cone 6 soda kiln fired up.
